Blake Thomas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specially trained in non-surgical facial rejuvenation using a variety of advanced injection techniques for neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Blake entered the medical field in May of 2008 as a Registered Nurse and continued her nursing career in cardiopulmonary step-down and hospice services. She received her master’s degree in nursing in 2014 and entered her role as a nurse practitioner at a pulmonary and sleep specialty clinic, where she spent an additional six years. She also has a love for hospice and has cared for hospice patients since 2010.
While Blake has always felt very passionate about caring for her sick patients, the world of aesthetics opened her eyes to a new way of helping others. “I always thought aesthetics would be a dream job for me,” she said. “Now, that dream is my reality and so much more!”
She became advanced certified in neuromodulators and dermal fillers in March of 2020. She has continued to attend numerous training throughout her aesthetic career. The vision of Self-Aesthetics was born and created with a mission to help others improve their self-confidence and self-love. “We all deserve to love what we see in the mirror,” she explains. “I truly believe that self-care and self-love make us better humans.”
Blake believes educating patients and establishing a good relationship with each other sets the stage for the best injectable experience.
She values continuous training to stay updated on the latest injection techniques and safety practices to accomplish optimal patient outcomes. She believes in a personalized treatment plan, combined with her meticulous aesthetic eye, for each patient helps achieve natural, rejuvenated aesthetic results.
